Hello Pet Owners and Property Managers, To begin, we would like to thank those of you who have already registered ( free registration ) for your continued support in what we beleive to be a worthwhile effort - our primary objective. And that is improving the state of relations between responsible pet owners and property managers in North America in order to create more opportunities of trust and understanding.

In a matter of four months we have already seen thousands of responsible North American pet owners visit, register, and return to use our services including our comprehensive pet friendly residence listings in each of our active cities. Pets 'N' Apartments (P&A) is now active and serving Calgary as well as other major North American cities including Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, the Waterloo Region, and San Francisco.
So please advise all of your friends in other provinces of the service - even those without pets.

Why is our service necessary? Well, the reality is some irresponsible tenants, and their pets do destroy rental suites. However, through our primary objective, by working with property management associations in each city, we will be able to reach and demonstrate to more property managers the fact that we, as responsible pet owners, do take just as much pride in out homes and communities as anyone else. And we should not be given less opportunity because of actions of irresponsible pet owners who exercise poor judgement for themselves and their pets. As part of building our reponsible pet owners' communities and identifying ourselves we will in the next few weeks be imlementing a rating system for each registered member and that rating (bronze, silver, gold) will be attached to every members' file for all property managers to see and use (only if you have given your P&A registration number as well as your first and last name). You can visit the site and click on the "Registered Rating System" banner to familiarize. With P&A's registration and rating system, responsible pet owners, as tenants, will only need to present their P&A registration number to their next property manager who can then type in that number, on-line at the P&A site, (or phone our office) and the tenant entire pet history will be available to view; already verified by previous property managers.

This will save time for you and your property manager as well as the hassle of keeping track of your previous property managers' addresses (especially as they move), and dealing with explanation of how well-behaved you and your pets are. We are the member of the Calgary Apartment Association and we've also been invited to join the BC and San Francisco Apartment Associations. We've noticed more property managers are now coming to the site and registering to do tenant history verifications and queries. And we continue to invite them, like everyone, to use and contribute to the positive growth and development of our service and pet friendly communities.
